The HORIBA Yumizen CA 60 Semi-Automatic Biochemistry Analyzer is a reliable and high-performance laboratory instrument designed for accurate routine biochemical and turbidimetric testing in clinical laboratories, hospitals, and diagnostic centers. It features an advanced optical system with a measurement range of -0.2 to 3.5 Abs across wavelengths 340, 405, 505, 535, 560, 600, 635, and 670 nm, using LED light sources and both monochromatic and bi-chromatic settings to ensure precise absorbance measurement with CV ≤1.0% at 0.1 A and ≤0.1% at 2 A. The analyzer is equipped with a quartz flow cuvette with 18 µl volume and removable macro, semi-micro, and micro round tubes (12 mm diameter), supported by a continuous-flow peristaltic pump system with aspiration volume ranging from 100 µl to 5000 µl and a nominal flow of 10 ml/min driven by a stepper motor.
The thermostat system operates between 25°C to 37°C with ±0.5°C accuracy and ±0.2°C stability in 30 minutes, ensuring consistent reaction conditions. It supports multiple calculation methods including absorbance, end-point, kinetic, differential, and fixed-time modes, with flexible calibration options such as factor, calibrator, and calibration curves up to 5 points, using linear, spline, linear regression, quadratic regression, and polynomial calculations. Quality assurance is enhanced through 3 control per test, Levey-Jennings control charts, and Westgard rules.
The Yumizen CA 60 comes pre-programmed with all Yumizen CR biochemistry and turbidimetric tests, supports multiple user programs, and can store more than 100, 000 patient results with quality control data of the last results. Powered by a 6-core 64-bit 1.8GHz ARM Cortex-A53 CPU, it offers smooth operation with USB 3.0 ports (2× USB host) and onboard 10/100/1000M Ethernet RJ45 connectivity. The analyzer includes a built-in thermal printer and a 7-inch color touchscreen LCD for easy operation and result visualization.
