AL6000 Alcohol Breathalyser The AL6000 analyzes a breath sample to detect alcohol in the lungs. This reading is then converted to blood alcohol concentration (BRAC – mg/L). The AL6000 uses an advanced oxide semiconductor sensor to detect alcohol. The AL6000 is the first and only breathalyzer that features Pre-Calibrated Alcohol Sensor Modules to eliminate the need for recalibration. Just snap out, snap in and you’re ready to go! 1 x Custom carry pouch 2 x Free batteries 5 x Plastic mouthpieces The UK Drink Drive Reading is 0.35mg/l on the AL6000 Unit we supply. Laboratory Usage

We are the Leading Supplier of Abbe Refractometer Rajdhani. In the Abbe'' refractometer the liquid sample is sandwiched into a thin layer between an illuminating prism and a refracting prism. The refracting prism is made of a glass with a high refractive index (e.g., 1.75) and the refractometer is designed to be used with samples having a refractive index smaller than that of the refracting prism. A light source is projected through the illuminating prism, the bottom surface of which is ground (i.e., roughened like a ground-glass joint), so each point on this surface can be thought of as generating light rays traveling in all directions. A detector placed on the back side of the refracting prism would show a light and a dark region. Over a century after Abbe''s work, the usefulness and precision of refractometers has improved, although their principle of operation has changed very little. They are also possibly the easiest device to use for measuring the refractive index of solid samples, such as glass, plastics, and polymer films. Some modern Abbe refractometers use a digital display for measurement, eliminating the need for discerning between small graduations. However, the user still has to adjust the view to get a final reading. The first truly digital laboratory refractometers began appearing in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and no longer depended on the user''s eye to determine the reading. They still required the use of circulating water baths to control instrument and fluid temperature. They did, however, have the ability to electronically compensate for the temperature differences of many fluids where there is a known concentration-to-refractive-index conversion. Most digital laboratory refractometers, while much more accurate and versatile than their analog Abbe counterparts, are incapable of readings on solid samples. In the late 1990s, Abbe refractometers became available with the capability of measurements at wavelengths other than the standard 589 nanometers. These instruments use special filters to reach the desired wavelength, and can extend measurements well into the near infrared (though a special viewer is required to see the infrared rays). Multi-wavelength Abbe refractometers can be used to easily determine a sample''s Abbe number.

Clinical Chemistry

Infinite Liquid a-Amylase 12 ml Diagnostic Reagent from Accurex (Pack Size : 6 x 2 ml). a-Amylase reagent is used for determination of amylase activity based on kinetic method using Gal G2 – a CNP. Amylase is a ready-to-use reagent. Normal amylase level is 40 to 140 units per liter (U/L) or 0.38 to 1.42 microkat/L (µkat/L). Infinite a-Amylase can be used on any Spectrophotometer, Discrete semiautomated & Automated analyzers. Reaction type is Kinetic. Accurex Biomedical is the first biochemical reagents manufacturing company in India About Infinite a-Amylase ‘is a reagent set for determination of amylase activity based on kinetic method using Gal G2 – a CNP. Infinite a-Amylase is a ready-to-use reagent. Infinite a-Amylase can be determined in just 21/2 minutes at 37°C. Infinite a-Amylase is linear upto 2000 IU/1. Infinite a-Amylase is a High Stability Reagent. Infinite a-Amylase can be used on any Spectrophotometer, Discrete semiautomated and Automated analyzers. Programme can be designed for any specific analyzer upon request. Pack Size : 6 x 2 ml Principle Amylase test involves use of a chromogenic substrate Gal G, – a CNP (2-chloro-4-nitrophenyl linked with galactosyl maltoside). The direct action of amylase with this substrate results in the release of more than 90% of 2-chloro-4-nitrophenol, which can be monitored by kinetic assay at 405 nm. The increase in absorbance is directly proportional to the amylase activity in the sample. Quality Control To ensure adequate quality control, it is recommended that each batch should include a normal and abnormal commercial reference control serum. It should be realized that the use of quality control material checks both instrument and reagent functions together. Factors which might affect the performance of this test include proper instrument function, temperature control, cleanliness of glassware and accuracy of pipetting. Other Details Mix thoroughly and transfer the assay mixture immediately to the thermostated cuvette and start the stopwatch simultaneously. Record the first reading at 60 second and subsequently three more readings with 30 seconds interval at 405 nm.
